While the main nave is free, accessing the cathedral's historical treasures requires a ticket. The Monumental Area ticket is sold at the cathedral ticket desks and on the official ticket shop (ticket-shop-cattedraledipalermo.it). This ticket grants entry to the royal tombs, the treasury, the subterranean crypts, and the rooftop walk.

A strict dress code applies to all sections. Visitors must cover their shoulders and knees before entering. Large backpacks and walking sticks may be restricted in these paid zones.
